Do you take my insurance?

I am out of network, and private pay. However, your insurance plan may reimburse you for a portion of your therapy investments dependent on their out of network coverage. In these cases, I will provide a superbill that you can submit to them for compensation.

Do you do weekly or biweekly sessions?

I always recommend clients start out with weekly sessions to make the most of their therapeutic experience. However I do offer biweekly sessions upon request.

What can I expect in our first couple’s therapy session?

Our first session is a safe space to explore what brings you to therapy and what you hope to gain. Using Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), we’ll identify unhelpful patterns, deepen emotional connection, and foster understanding. It’s important to me that you are guided with curiosity and compassion, helping you express emotions in a way that strengthens your bond.

What can I expect in my first session?

The first session of therapy is our chance to meet and get to know each other. I will provide a comprehensive assessment of what brings you into therapy, your stressors, struggles, and strengths, and what you are hoping to gain from your experience within therapy. At that point, we’ll work together to define your therapy goals and make a plan for how to make the most of our time together.

How long are therapy sessions?

My sessions are 50 minutes, and typically occur the same time and day each week.
