Carmen Marina Counseling Services is owned by Carmen Lopez (she/her), AMFT.

I believe in the collaborative nature of therapy. Often times our therapists can be the mirrors we need to gain insight into ourselves, our capabilities, and our areas of growth. Trained from a systemic approach, I see the humanity in each and every client. We are all functioning as a part of many integrating systems, and it is my goal to help you feel seen and able to best recognize and navigate the many systems and social supports at play in your life.

I utilize emotion focused and attachment based therapy modalities to improve your understanding and relationship with yourself and others.

I am Prepare and Enrich, and certified in Gottman Method Couples Therapy. I have also completed the Emotion Focused Therapy externship.
